UPSC CSE Result: Haryana shines in UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022

UPSC CSE Result: At least 10 candidates belonging to Haryana, including six girls, have made it to the top 100 list of Civil Services Examination 2022 announced by the Union Public Service Commission on Tuesday.

The toppers come from diverse family backgrounds as some of them are serving officers, and even from the families of serving and retired officers, shopkeepers, teachers, businessmen and farmers. Anirudh Yadav, the younger son of Haryana IPS officer Manoj Yadav, has secured the eighth rank. He is under training as an Indian Information Service officer, Anirudh is an IIT, Delhi alumnus. Whereas, Narayani Bhatia, daughter of former Haryana IPS Sanjay Bhatia, has secured 45th rank. She is an IPS officer of Haryana cadre on study leave.

Kaithal’s daughter has secured 9th position

Kanika Goyal (24) of Kaithal has emerged as Haryana State Topper with All India 9th rank. This was her second attempt as she had failed in the exam last year.

Born in an ordinary family, Kanika Goyal had a dream of becoming an IAS since childhood. Kanika is the only child of Lakhmi Chand Goyal and Neelam Goyal. Kanika’s father runs a Kariyana store in Kaithal and they live in a joint family. Kanika said that this was her second attempt as she could not clear the interview in the first attempt. She completed her schooling from Hindu Girls Senior Secondary School, Kaithal and graduation from Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi. He also took online coaching for UPSC.

SDM of Delhi got 12th position

Abhinav Siwach of Gorakhpur village of Fatehabad has secured 12th position. Abhinav is currently an officer of Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DANICS) and posted as SDM in Delhi. His father Satbir Siwach is the Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (DETC) in Gurugram and uncle Lalit Siwach is the Deputy Commissioner of Sonipat.

Abhinav said that this was his second attempt and gave the credit of his success to his father and teachers.

“I used to study for five to six hours every day after completing my training hours. I completed my MBA from Indian Institute of Management Kolkata in 2018. I also worked as Naib Tehsildar in Haryana before joining Delhi as SDM. After completing my MBA, I worked for two hours in a multinational company and had a good package, but later resigned after working for about two hours.”

While Jind’s Ankita Puwar has secured Julana 28th rank. Ankita’s family belongs to Julana village of Jind but they shifted to Chandigarh and completed her studies from Chandigarh. Narayani Bhatia, daughter of former IPS officer Sanjay Bhatia, has secured 45th rank. Narayani had cleared the exam last year as well and was selected for IPS and allotted Haryana cadre.

Muskan Dagar of Sahlanga village of Jhajjar has secured 72nd rank. He has improved his ranking from last year’s 474th position. He has improved his ranking from last year’s 474th position. She is undergoing training under the Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) at Faridabad. His father Vikas Dagar is a farmer. He did his BSc in 2020 from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

Similarly, Sunil Phogat of Charkhi Dadri has secured 77th rank. Tech degree holder Sunil has cleared the exam in the fourth attempt. Sunil’s father is a retired army man and mother is a housewife. Sunil relied on self-study and while staying in Delhi, he prepared for the exam.

Nidhi Kaushik of Sonepat has secured 88th rank. Nidhi’s father Mukesh Kaushik is a businessman and mother is a homemaker. Nidhi has improved her rank from last year’s 286 to rank 88. This was her fourth attempt and she joined audit department last year and she is posted in Chandigarh.

Divyanshi Singla of Sargodha Colony, Kaithal has secured 95th rank in her third attempt and Muskan Khurana of Panipat has secured 98th rank. Along with this, Bhavesh of Tosham of Bhiwani has secured 280th rank. This was Muskaan’s third attempt. Muskaan’s father Vivek Khurana is a businessman and did her schooling from Vidya Devi Jindal School Hisar and her graduation from Indraprastha College, Delhi. She is also doing PhD in International Affairs.

Manasvi Sharma of Karnal has got 101st rank in the examination. Manasvi is the son of Dr. Radhey Shyam Sharma, Retired Vice Chancellor Chaudhary Devi Lal Vishwavidyalaya Sirsa and this was his fifth attempt.
