Difficulty level as per the feedback received from the students on 11th April, 2023 (Forenoon Session).

Mathematics – Intermediate level. Questions were asked from all the chapters with emphasis on the chapters of Algebra and Calculus. Questions were asked from Vectors and 3D Geometry (4 to 5 questions), Binomial theorem, Progression, Matrices, Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, Permutation and Combination and Probability, Straight Lines and Circle, Parabola, 3 questions in Definite Integral, Area, Difference Were. Equation (2 questions). There was a long calculation in the numerical section. Mixed concept questions were asked in the conic section. Some questions were said to be tricky.

Physics – Easy Level. Questions asked from Kinematics, Heat & Thermodynamics (3 to 4 Questions), Kinetic Theory of Gases, Gravitation, Rotational Motion, EM Waves, Electrostatics, Magnetism, AC Circuit, Current Electricity, Modern Physics and Ray Optics. Numerical based questions were easy. Overall, this section was balanced according to the students.

Chemistry – Easy to Moderate level. More weightage was given to inorganic chemistry as compared to physical and organic chemistry. Numerical based questions were mostly from Physical Chemistry – Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Mole Concept, Ionic Equilibrium and Solid State. Questions were also asked from Environmental Chemistry, P & D Block, Phenols, Chemical Bonding and Coordination Compounds. Some mixed-concept questions were asked in Organic Chemistry from Amines, Aldehydes and Ketones, Biomolecules and Polymers.

In order of difficulty – Mathematics was of moderate level in all the three subjects while Physics was easy. Overall this paper was of moderate level according to the students.
