Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is going to start registration for students for admission in class 11 through Online Facilitation System (OFSS) from May 17.

Board officials said that the application forms were uploaded on the online admission portal on Wednesday. Students who have passed the matriculation examination can fill the online form for admission in class 11th from May 17 to May 26 by registering themselves at www.ofssbihar.in.
According to the board, admissions will be done in 10,268 senior secondary schools and colleges. Students can check details of all schools and colleges like their location, stream-wise seat availability and type of college on the admission portal.
A senior BSEB official said, “Admission in Class 11 will be taken on 22.97 lakh seats across the state. We have around 10 lakh seats in arts stream, followed by 9.8 lakh seats in science and 2.28 lakh seats in commerce. candidates have to pay 350 as application fee. Candidates can choose a maximum of 20 schools or colleges as their preferred institutes.

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor said, “Candidates who have passed matriculation examination from Bihar Board, CBSE, ICSE or any other national/state board are eligible to apply for online admission in class 11. The board will make a Will release the merit list.score and reservation category.
“Every year more than one lakh students from other educational boards approach BSEB for Class 11 admission. Last year, a total of 1.13 lakh students from CBSE, ICSE and other boards appeared for Class 11 in various schools and colleges affiliated to BSEB. entered.” He added.
