Born in a farming family, state science topper Ayushi Nandan’s dream came true on Tuesday when she checked her intermediate result.

She has secured 1st rank in science stream with 94.8% by scoring 474 marks out of 500. She is a student of R Lal College in Khagaria.
His father Sravesh Kumar Suman alias Vikas Kumar is engaged in farming and dairy business while his mother Ameesha Kumari is a homemaker. He lives in Matihani village under Mansi block of Khagaria district.
“I was expecting to get high marks but I did not expect to get first rank. I didn’t follow any strict study time table but I studied for eight hours daily. I took help from a local coaching institute. My teachers always motivated me to work hard and perform to the best of my ability. I am thankful to my parents and teachers for supporting me”, she said.
Science topper Ayushi Nandan wants to become an IAS officer
“I am interested in administrative services. My aim is to clear the civil services exam and serve my state or country”, he said.
Proud father Kumar, who has studied till matriculation, said his daughter is free to study as per her choice.
“My wife and I are 10th pass now. I could not study due to geographical and financial constraints. This is a huge achievement for a family like ours. I have never discriminated against my children. My daughter is free to pursue higher education as per her choice. Her younger brothers and neighborhood kids are also inspired to see Ayushi’s success”, he said.
Arts topper Mohdesa wants to develop her village
Mohaddesa students of Higher Secondary School, Purnia have emerged as Arts toppers in the state. He has scored 95% marks by scoring 475/500 marks.
His father Mohammad Junaid Alam is a teacher while his mother Razia Begum is a homemaker. He lives in Bayasi town of Purnia district.
Mohaddisa’s dream is to become an IAS officer for the development of her native place.
“I want to pursue my career in civil services. My village is still very backward. Here girls study till 10th or hardly 12th. I want to become an IAS officer and set an example for other girls too.
Commerce topper Saumya wants to become a CA.
Saumya Sharma and Rajneesh Kumar Pathak of S Sinha College, Aurangabad have become joint toppers in commerce stream. Both have secured 95 per cent marks by securing 475 marks out of 500.
Sharma’s father Ravindra Sharma is a farmer. She told that she was preparing for the Chartered Accountancy exam.
